A Half Day Symposium on "Tuberculosis: Risk and Management" was organized by Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Manmohan Technical University. Mr. Dhurb lal Uranw, Chief Executive Offiicer, Nepal Anti-Tuberculosis Association (NATA), Morang, Biratnagar presented paper on the Historical Background of Tuberculosis. Poonam Bista, District Program Coordinator, Birat Nepal Medical Trust, Morang, Biratnagar highlighted about Tuberculosis its sign and symptoms. Govinda Majhi, TB Province Coordinator, Save the Children explained about Incidence and Prevalence of TB in different province level and Santosh Kumar Gupta, Province Team Leader, Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal provided insight on government facilities regarding diagnosis and treatment of Tuberculosis in Nepal.
The program was chaired by Dr. Dipendra Shrestha, Coordinator, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences and welcome remark was extended by Mr. SaiBijaya Rijal, Coordinator, Department of Pharmacy
